Detachable collars have come back into fashion recently, with high street stores doing their own versions as well as designers such as Ganni rocking the frill collars. Perfect for wearing as the weather warms up, the look of wearing a shirt without the bulk and warmth of sleeves.
I have found that the best way to wear a collar is with a plain block collar and a round neck line. Smock dresses and thin jumpers are great for pairing with. As I try and move away from fast fashion I have been loving Vinted and eBay to fill my fashion fix.
This red smock dress was bought on eBay (just £3 originally from ASOS- what a bargain!) has been a firm favourite in my wardrobe, great for layering.
The best part of these collars is that they work with so many items you already have in your wardrobe which is sustainable and makes it looks like you've bought a new outfit. Win! This black jumper I've had for 5+ and its given me a reason to wear it again,
